The good news is simple.
Washington and Tehran agreed over the weekend to stand down and keep talking, oil eased back from its scare, and the buyers who sat on their hands last week came back.
The S&P 500 is up around 0.7 percent, the Nasdaq better than 1 percent.
I like what this tells me. A market that just had a rough week and then bounces on the first real piece of good news is a market with willing buyers to support it.
Last week's pullback shook a few names loose at better prices than we've seen in a while.
Good weeks tend to start exactly like this one.

This is worth looking at.
